I’ve been so horribly boring and absent lately, I’m Sorry.

I was sick all this weekend and with Christmas coming up in a week I am just way too busy to even think about turning the computer on.

  • I still have all my Christmas cards to write. 
  • I have some gifts to wrap.
  • I have no idea what to buy George. 

On a good note, if the world doesn’t end Friday, my birthday is in 6 more days!! Yay! 

I’m going to be 25. Ew I’m freaking old lol. I feel like I’m turning 75 instead. Kinda depressing because my goal for 25 was to have two kids and to be done, instead I’m still trying to get on the horse lol. Oh well, there’s always Frankie. :)

Anyways, we did a Ugly Christmas Sweater photoshoot (me and my brother)today with my lovely photog bestie Elodie!. It turned out soooo freaking amazing. We only wanted 2 or 3 shots for out mom’s Christmas gift. Well we kinda ended up with 39, which we’re going to put in a album for her. Will definetly put those up when I get them back. 

Anyways this week is going to be crazy, so I’ll try to post, but I aint making no promises! 

October 28th

So many amazing people have this birthday. Today I discovered that some of my favourite tumblrs/mumblrs also share this birthday. 

It’s my long long time best friend’s birthday. Who I’ve known for 22 years. It’s my all time favourite daycare child’s birthday. 

But it’s also a very sad day. Today would have been my brother’s best friend’s 21st birthday. He died 4 years ago on December 16th. It was a tragic and bizarre home accident that killed him. My brother was devastated, we all were, it was the saddest funeral I’ve ever been to, I didn’t stop crying for days. 

So Happy Birthday Gary, I know you’re the most beautiful angel there has ever been. Thank you for watching over us all these years and keeping us safe, we feel your presence all the time. We love you and we miss you.

I have everyone coming over tomorrow for the hubby’s b-day and the kitchen currently looks like this:

My dad is putting new windows in the kitchen and storage rooms. So we had to take everything away from the windows. Next step is replacing all the cabinets and painting them. Also need to pick a backsplash out and new fixtures.

Who knows maybe I’ll fall in love with the house one day……. We’ll see.
